Description
Indonesian Institute of Energy Economics (IIEE) was founded in Jakarta in 1995 as a non-government think-tank institute with the primary aim of becoming an energy economic research institute to extensively support the management and benefit of energy resources.
IIEE has great interest towards the management and utilization of energy resources. IIEE does researches, disseminate the outcome in the form of reports, discussions, workshops, and other, in an effort to extend input to improve decisions and management of national energy. These are the main endeavors to implement IIEE main reasons of existence.
In the last few years IIEE was also directly involved in community activities in the form of electricity access availability in remote areas by using local renewable energy (ET) resources. In the process of development, IIEE always involve the local community in order to raise a sense of belonging of the facilities that at the end guarantees a continuation of said facilities. IIEE is also dedicated to become the force of activities of awareness towards the importance of Energy Efficiency (EE) and Energy Conservation (EC) especially to the younger generation. IIEE believes that the younger generation can determine the success of program EE and EC in the future.
