Description
Bali has been a focal point for many other destinations in Indonesia. It has set a great example while being a pioneer in Indonesian’s first tourism harbor since its first encounter with the outside world. Destination Management Companies, ever since, play a great role in introducing Bali and other Indonesia destinations to the Tour operators worldwide and thus generate profitable business in the growing tourism field.
We as responsible tourism practitioners have a task to solve any negative impacts that is arising as the effect of advancement on this industry. In result, the DMC’s put hands together and form Indonesian DMC Sustainability Collaboration (IDSC) – initially established between Happy Trails, Destination Asia, and Kelana DMC and open to others to join.
To reach our broad goal, we will conduct a thorough assessment within all our stakeholders with aim to meet our standards as well as guide and encourage to actualize the positive changes. We will do onsite visits and give guidance and follow up on sustainable and health & safety best practices.
