Indonesian Conference on Religion and Peace (ICRP) is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-governmental, and independent organization that dedicated to promote interfaith dialogue, democracy, and peace in Indonesia. ICRP was founded by religious leaders from various religions and beliefs in Indonesia. ICRP seeks to encourage dialogue to build a democratic, humanist, and pluralist religious life. Before being inaugurated on July 12, 2000 by the President of Indonesia, Abdurrahman Wahid, the efforts for interfaith dialogue had been established in Indonesia. ICRP together with various institutions and individuals who fight for pluralism and peace put more emphasis on the effort to uphold justice from various perspectives: gender, human rights, spirituality, economy, social, and politics. ICRP actively takes part in developing studies on peace and conflict resolution as well in fighting for human rights and freedom of religion and belief.
