Indonesian Association of British Alumni (IABA) is an organization that was established in November 1991 to serve as a constructive networking platform for UK alumni and to strengthen the cultural and business relations between Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
On 25th September 2021, has elected a new President democratically by performing an online poll involving participants across Indonesia. Through this process, Mr. Redha Bhawika Putra S.T., M.Sc., a Manchester University alumnus (MSc in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering, 2010-2011) has been elected as the new President for the tenure of November 2021 until 2024. Mr. Putra will succeed Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. Before Prof. Hikmahanto, the following respective name has been the past Chairman of IABA : Yuwono Sudarsono, Hayono Isman, Saiful Haq Manan, and Irnanda Laksanawan.
IABA has the vision to become a comfortable home for the UK alumni to foster friendship, grow the business and accelerate their pathways for brighter careers. This will be achieved by holding community activities and free lectures from UK Alumni experts.
