Immediation NZ are experts in helping parties resolve their disputes through mediation.
We know how easy it is for disputes to escalate and become adversarial. Solutions that might otherwise have been found that enabled satisfactory common ground for both parties, can get lost in the heat of confrontation – positions get entrenched, parties lawyer-up and things get messy (and expensive) quickly.
Preventable escalation can be especially damaging when the dispute is between parties who might otherwise have hoped to enjoy on-going relationship (such as between a customer and a supplier, or an employee and their employer).
That is why we set up Immediation NZ. Our primary purpose is to help parties resolve disputes, enabling parties to confront their issues in a safe and constructive manner. At our core is a team of specialised, highly trained mediators who more often than not can help parties find common ground they seek through early facilitation and immediate mediation.
When things get more complicated, we draw on a panel of subject matter expert mediators across a range of specialist areas as needed.
As well as providing this service directly for organisations like Sport New Zealand (working directly with each of the National Sporting Organisations), we also can help organisations design and implement their own in-house dispute resolution services.
