Description
ILATAAJ is registered as PT. ILATAAJ Indonesia. The name stands for Inter-Linkages of Aptitudes Towards Arrays of Architectural Juxtapositions. Practicing since 2009, the studio has established a growing Client list which includes major developers like Sinarmas Land, Summarecon Agung, and Lippo Malls. We always aim to achieve the highest possible architectural detail quality in our work, which resulted in good media coverage for most of our completed projects. Andrew Tirta is director of the practice.
Andrew has a Master of Architecture degree with Project Distinction from the Architectural Association Design Research Laboratory in London. He studied under Tom Verebes, Brett Steele, and Patrik Schumacher.
He has worked for design practices in both the UK and South East Asia. Some of the people he has learned under are Ken Yeang, well known for bio-climatic architecture; Ross Lovegrove, the world famous product designer; and Marks Barfield Architects, creators of the London Eye.
Andrew teaches occasionally as lecturer, tutor, and critic. Some of the institutions he has visited are the AA School of Architecture, the Royal College of Arts, and the Hong Kong Shenzhen Biennale.
