Indonesian Future Leaders (IFL) officially emerged as Civil Development Organization driven by young individuals in 2009, initiated by a group of 17-18 year-olds. We believe in advancing Indonesia, a responsibility not solely entrusted to the government but to all segments of society, including the youth. Through Indonesian Future Leaders, we aim to nurture a capable and impactful young generation, fostering positive change within the community. This shift enables the youth to transcend their role as mere recipients of development and instead become the driving force behind it.
The establishment of IFL Chapter Malang as the 6th branch marks the concluding chapter, following Bandung, Yogyakarta, Bali, Bulukumba, and Lampung. IFL Chapter Malang was conceived by 8 young individuals and formally established on September 21, 2014, as a youth organization under the auspices of the Central IFL.
The projects we undertake are aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, making tangible contributions, particularly for the city of Malang and its surroundings. Several projects and programs we have implemented include Youthquake, Grow Them Great, Close The Gap, IFL Take Action, Aku Pintar, and We Care Them. We contribute to the development of villages, schools, and social communities by adhering to the 3 principles of IFL Chapter Malang: Promotion and Advocacy, Capacity Building, and Community Service.
