The ICT Educators of New South Wales (ICTENSW) is a non-profit professional teaching association for ICT, STEM and Computer Science Educators in NSW.

We provide Professional Development, Resources and Networking for our member, supporting the development of digital literacies, digital citizenship and the students use of technology to solve tough problems.

ICTENSW represents all teachers’ interests at local, state and national level (Australian Council for Computers in Education). It advocates on matters of curriculum and equity, and promotes best practice in the use of ICT in learning.

ICTENSW provide resources, professional development and a network of collegial support.

To that end ICTENSW:

  • organises professional development opportunities
  • provides on-line resources to members
  • provides a means for ICT and STEM workshops to be accredited with NESA
  • represents the interest and concerns of members to the NESA, the Department of Education & Communities, the Australian Council for Computers in Education and other bodies where appropriate
  • undertakes regional in-services when required
  • networks with parallel agencies to promote ICT and STEM educator events
