Founded in 2001 in Canley Vale, Sydney, House of Welcome has been a beacon of support for refugees and people seeking asylum for over two decades. Our mission is to provide a safe community where people seeking asylum and refugees can thrive and belong.
We offer comprehensive wrap-around support, including transitional housing, personalised casework, employment pathways, advocacy for policy change, and social enterprise opportunities. Our innovative programs encompass the Welcome Start Transitional Housing, Work & Welcome employment placements, and the House of Welcome Catering social enterprise.
Since 2017, we've operated from our Granville location, continuing to expand our services and impact. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to empower our clients, helping them navigate Australian society and build independent, fulfilling lives.
