Hope in a Suitcase Australia Inc is a registered non-for-profit charity empowering children entering out-of-home care. Children often enter out-of-home care with only a plastic garbage bag of belongings or less and these bags are then dragged around with them to each placement...sadly for many this will be multiple.
HIASC is on a mission to ensure all children entering out-of-home care receive a suitcase full of essential belongings to call their own. Let's move from a plastic bag of embarrassment, hurt, shame, fear and insecurity to a suitcase of HOPE.
