Hobart Brewers aims to provide a meeting place for home brewers in Southern Tasmania for the purpose of learning about brewing, giving and receiving feedback on brews and talking with other brewers. We love brewing beer, drinking it and thinking about it.
There is no minimum amount you need to know to join. From those who are interested but have never brewed to those who have years of experience, everyone is welcome.
Each meeting incorporates an education component from an expert along with tasting and feedback on brews. They will include information on beer styles, evaluation, flaws, ingredients, brewing equipment and techniques. It is not a drinking club, we encourage personal responsibility and healthy decisions in regards to alcohol consumption.
