Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Geologi Universitas Sriwijaya yang selanjutnya disingkat menjadi HMTG "Sriwijaya" merupakan organisasi kemahasiswaan tertinggi di lingkup Program Studi Teknik Geologi , Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Sriwijaya yang berfungsi menjadi sarana pembinaan, penyaluran aspirasi, pemberdayaan potensi mahasiswa, pengembangan kepribadian, , serta pengembangan potensi akademik maupun non akademik mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Geologi Universitas Sriwijaya. Awal lahirnya HMTG "Sriwijaya" yaitu pada tanggal 16 Januari 2014 yang dimana HMTG "Sriwijaya" terbentuk 1 tahun setelah berdirinya Program Studi Teknik Geologi Universitas Sriwjaya pada tahun 2013.
