HMTB “RINUVA” ITB is the official student association of the Bioenergy and Chemurgy Engineering program at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), under the Faculty of Industrial Technology. Established on May 14, 2017, by the 2015 cohort, HMTB serves as a hub for students pursuing expertise in chemurgy—an engineering discipline focused on processing renewable, plant-based materials into non-food products such as bioenergy, oleochemicals, cosmetics, and others.
Vision:
To be an adaptive student association that prioritizes the well-being and development of its members while encouraging active contribution toward meaningful impact.
Mission:
1. To cultivate a self-development platform within HMTB that aligns with the evolving needs of its members.
2. To strengthen the sense of kinship among HMTB members, fostering ownership and pride in the organization.
3. To enhance members’ knowledge and skills in the scientific and professional fields of Bioenergy and Chemurgy Engineering.
4. To build strong relationships between HMTB, external institutions, and the community through collaboration.
