Hip Pocket Workwear and Safety Ballarat, a family owned and operated business, was established in the year 2000 and was the second store in the Hip Pocket Franchise group to open.
From a small shop front the store now occupies a 1200 square metre building with a staff of 25.The growth of the business has allowed access to national best pricing from a wide range of suppliers which we are able to pass on to our customers.
The corporate arm of the business is structured along Account management lines with key personnel (Account Managers) assigned to large clients to work with them in developing their uniform range and overseeing the account to ensure all aspects from development, fitting out, ordering and delivery are met.
The retail arm of the business services a very large number of small businesses both trade and corporate. The store is set in modern premises with change rooms for both men and women and excellent off street parking. The store not only services small businesses but also provides a ‘gateway’ to allow large organizations to provision their staff in a comfortable retail environment.
Hip Pocket Workwear and Safety Ballarat service many of the largest companies in Ballarat with their uniform and safety requirements. Over the recent years we have also worked with a number of businesses to supply uniforms to their branch networks reaching across Australia and we are the largest supplier of student paramedic uniforms in Victoria.
