Tahun 2008 terdapat jurusan baru di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, sebut saja Program Studi Agroteknologi. Program Studi Agroteknologi merupakan program studi yang terdiri dari gabungan bidang Agronomi, Hortikultura, Perlindungan Tanaman, Pemuliaan Tanaman, dan Ilmu Tanah. Program Studi Agroteknologi belum mempunyai Himpunan Mahasiswa pada saat itu, seperti halnya Himasae milik jurusan sosial ekonomi/agribisnis, Himagrita milik D3 Agrobisnis, Himagreen milik Teknik Pertanian, Himateta milik Teknologi Pangan dan Himasela dari prodi PSL. Karena alasan tersebut, beberapa mahasiswa Agroteknologi angkatan 2008 berkumpul untuk membahas mengenai Hima. Mahasiswa tersebut antara lain Dede Haedar Y, Arif Ardiawan, Ike R, Raistika, Fani, Riska, Asiah, Hairul Affisar, Faizar Nur, Adi Diafalah, dan Dwi Aprianto yang sering kita sebut sebagai panitia sebelas.
