Micromelon Engineering started life as the engineering company building our own products for the Education industry.

As our capabilities have grown and our client base has expanded, we’ve found that our name no longer fully reflects the breadth and depth of what we do for our customers. That’s why we’re rebranding to HFS Design.

HFS Design better represents our core strengths:

Hardware, Firmware, and Software — all integrated under one roof.

We’re still the same team, with the same passion for building innovative, end-to-end products that merge electronics with software. The new name signals our commitment to being faster, sharper, and more aligned with the industries we serve.

This rebrand is about clarity, focus, and continuing to deliver exceptional results — from first sketch to final product.
