Hartono Elektrik yang awalnya menjual peralatan listrik, kemudian berkembang menjadi salah satu pemain besar dalam bisnis elektronik di Jawa Timur.
Pada tahun 1999, manajemen baru Hartono Elektrik mengubah nama dari Hartono Elektrik menjadi Hartono Elektronika, dan kemudian pada tahun 2014 kata ‘Elektronika’ dihilangkan dari nama merek, menjadi Hartono.
