Founded in 2015, HappyTap Co. is a social business that is building the new normal in hand hygiene -- one in which handwashing with soap is within reach.
Why hand washing?
Yikes, why not handwashing? Handwashing is the first line of defense against a huge number of infectious diseases. Yet, 3 billion people—and 47% of schools—lack hand washing facilities. During ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks and ahead of the next pandemic, our goal is to make sure everyone has convenient access to hand washing with soap.
Who is HappyTap for?
The result of years of human-centered design, HappyTap is easy for anyone to use, from mothers, caregivers, and healthcare workers, to children as young as 2 years old. HappyTap is water efficient and does not need a piped water connection, making it accessible to anyone, anywhere.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, HappyTap has served schools, healthcare clinics, and households around the world, from the UK to Papua New Guinea.
What is Labobo?
Labobo is the product name for HappyTap in Vietnam and Cambodia. We ask our Francophone friends to forgive us the pun.
