PT. Hade Dinamis Sejahtera traces its roots back to 1947, when Oen Boen Liong founded a cattle and horse trading business in Melolo, East Sumba, Indonesia. In 1963, his son Eric Hartono expanded into international markets by exporting local cattle to Hong Kong. When export regulations changed in 1975 to protect the domestic supply, the company strategically shifted to focus on supplying the Jabodetabek market.

In the early 1990s, under the leadership of the third generation, Hendrik Hartono, the company was formally established as PT. Hade Dinamis Sejahtera. Hendrik introduced a major strategic pivot by importing high-quality cattle from Australia to meet growing domestic demand and ensure a consistent supply.
