GWN7 is the highest rating television broadcaster in Regional Western Australia, and is committed to bringing quality programming to country WA.
GWN7 launched its first transmission in 1967, as a single town broadcaster, and 46 years later now reaches more than half a million viewers. With the launch of multi-channel digital television, viewers can now enjoy the superior quality of GWN7 along with additional channels 7TWO and 7mate.
GWN7 is also a strong supporter of local communities, forging a strong connection with the people of WA through active involvement in community events and through sponsorships and partnerships across the state.
GWN7 consistently brings the top rating programs to Regional WA. From home grown and international drama, to sports coverage and reality TV. GWN7 is the only television station in Regional WA to have a locally produced and broadcast news program. The GWN7 Local News is an award winning service that brings the news that matters to regional viewers. GWN7 also has its very own and much loved Network Mascot – Doopa Dog. For decades Doopa has been waving goodnight to children throughout Regional WA, and also has his very own children’s program called “Doopa’s Club”.
