Gideon Tan Razali Zaini (GTRZ) is a full-service Malaysian legal firm. Our lawyers are known as competent and aggressive counsel in civil commercial litigation and arbitration locally and internationally, while the corporate and conveyancing department’s trustworthiness is also well-established in the industry.

Because of the firm’s experience in commercial litigation, our lawyers have a knack for advising corporate clients to pre-empt problems and disputes, and if litigation cannot be avoided, strategically position for clients to have the best chance of winning.

Our insight is also reflected in the corporate agreements we draft, as we are able to identify the fault lines in various situations. Having outlined these issues, we then engineer agreements and solutions that give our clients the advantage they need.

Founded in 1996, GTRZ first made a name during the Asian financial crisis advising on cases related to the stockbroking industry. We continued to prove our ability to handle company disputes throughout the 2000s, acting in high-profile battles for control of listed companies. Then in 2007, GTRZ’s foreign law practice in Singapore began.

Three words make up our tagline: Strategic, Steadfast and Supportive. “Strategic” calls attention to our sharp strategies that blend organized methods with innovative versatility. “Steadfast” and “Supportive” on the other hand refer to our tenacious attitude in providing professional, responsive support and consultation.
