Description

Welcome to Green Carbon Industries, where we're committed to driving sustainability through the use of biochar in roads and buildings. Our vision is to scale production and use of biochar from waste, and we're making significant strides toward achieving that goal.

Our purpose is to use biochar/construction char in roads and buildings at scale, which is made from pyrogenic carbon capture and storage (PyCCS)-derived biomass, biosolids, FOGO, contaminated waste, coal fines, tires, and other materials that would otherwise go to waste. By using these waste materials to create biochar, we're helping to reduce the environmental impact of waste disposal while creating a valuable resource for infrastructure development.

Did you know that we can produce up to 300 US tons of biochar per mile of road? Biochar is a highly versatile material that can be used in a variety of applications, including road construction and building insulation. When used in roads, biochar can help to increase the durability and lifespan of the pavement, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance stormwater management. In buildings, biochar can be used as insulation to reduce energy consumption and lower heating and cooling costs.

At Green Carbon Industries, our mission is to be carbon net negative by 2030. We're committed to advancing the use of biochar in infrastructure development, and we're always looking for new ways to innovate and improve our processes. Join us in our mission to drive sustainability and make a positive impact on the environment.
