Founded in March 2020 as an emergency response to the pandemic, Greater Action is a dynamic, non-profit social organization based in Bandar Baru Ampang, Malaysia. Entirely volunteer-driven, we are powered by a dedicated team of committed individuals working tirelessly to make a difference.
Our mission is to support 250 marginalised Afghan refugee families, forced to flee their homelands, in rebuilding their lives in Malaysia. We achieve this by providing access to quality education, sustainable livelihood opportunities, artist development programs, and essential healthcare services.
At the heart of our work is women’s empowerment. Through our sustainable skills training programs in culinary arts, up-cycled tailoring, and beauty, we equip vulnerable refugee women with the tools they need to learn, grow, and achieve self-sufficiency.
