The Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association GPMTA is a non profit Association and is the peak industry body representing the interests of the tourism industry in Greater Port Macquarie Area which includes Camden Haven and Wauchope. Our goal is to work with all stakeholders to achieve a sustainable increase in visitor numbers for Greater Port Macquarie. Vital to this is a strong and united tourism industry which member participation greatly assists.
We have representation on and are members of the Regional Tourism Organisation; in addition our board members sit on a number of Taskforces including Infrastructure Development, Visitor Services and Tourism Marketing.
GPMTA is devoted to tourism and focused on ensuring that we have input in nurturing this extremely important industry both in the short and long term.

Our Board is made up of a small yet passionate group of people who love what we do! We have all worked and invested in the local tourism industry for many years, and together we provide the knowledge and experience required to provide professional support services to our members, as well as actively engage with stakeholders to strengthen Greater Port Macquarie’s tourism brand appeal. Importantly, the Board consists of representatives from the Port Macquarie, Camden Haven and Wauchope communities. We proudly embrace the interests and issues of all towns and villages in the Greater Port Macquarie area.
