We’re GovHack Aotearoa New Zealand and we exist to enable people of all abilities to collaborate and create positive change at home and around the world, whilst raising the profile of Open Government Data.
We created GovHack Aotearoa New Zealand for sponsors, participants and the Open Data community because there was no easy collaboration platform for passionate people who were interested in effecting change through Open Data.
GovHack Aotearoa New Zealand is an organisation providing multiple opportunities for people of all abilities to make life better.
We’re passionate about creating a world where more people can feel excited about making positive contributions to the community, where awareness of Open Data is raised and facilitating a greater reach for everyone involved.
GovHack Aotearoa New Zealand we created by Murray, Mike, Masina, Tom and Taara who took over GovHack New Zealand in 2020, to carry the vision forward as GovHack Aotearoa New Zealand.
