Laura and Steph are two mates on a mission - to create dog treats worthy of the best fur babies.
Fellow westies, they lived and worked together during their OE in the UK and have stayed friends ever since (fun fact: Steph fainted during Dave and Laura’s wedding ceremony. Ten years later she’s slightly less mortified about it).
When they caught up it used to be like nothing had changed - until that one time they started talking about the freeze dried green lipped mussels Laura was making for her two weimaraners - and now things have changed a lot!
Combining Laura’s expertise in dog training and food production, and Steph’s experience in communications and finding that spot above the tail for the best scratchies, Gourmate Pet Treat Co. was born.
