Gorenang Moortabiin Aboriginal Engagement & Community Development (Aboriginal Corporation) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that covers the Great Southern Region of WA and was co-founded in 2020 by Elder Mr Ezzard Flowers and Ms Paula Foenander.
Gorenang is a composite of the Goreng and Minang Noongar language groups and Moortabiin means ‘bringing families and communities together’.
Gorenang Moortabiin host a growing number of programs and workshops for Aboriginal youth and adults, wrapped in a culturally safe environment. Our use of on-country classrooms' helps us to teach important life skills and culturally knowledge.
Current programs include youth, arts and cultural workshops. Gorenang Moortabiin also works with the Department of Communities to deliver the Target 120 program.
