Goodlife began its journey in 1998 as Money Smart, a family owned and operated financial advice company founded by Gary Hodgson. Gary began Money Smart after successfully working as Regional Manager of Prudential Retirement Planning. Since Money Smart's very first client, Gary dedicated himself to building a strong, well-resourced business that is holistic in its approach, and which services 500+ clients. After Gary retiring in 2010, the business is now directed and owned by his nephew Daniel Carney, who brings energy and enthusiasm to the profession of financial planning and advice. Money Smart was re-branded Goodlife Financial Advice in April 2011.
The heart and soul of Money Smart has always been the people and relationships, and Daniel is dedicated to maintaining the core values of the original brand as he develops innovative financial products and services to meet current and ever/changing market conditions.
Our clients include Lotto winners, ex-All Blacks, single Mums, Kiwi Mum and Dad investors, couples, singles, young and old - everyone! And, we hope you're next!
