Description
GoodKids is a social enterprise empowering at-risk youth since 2015, to build self confidence, through the arts medium, and counseling.
GoodKids empowers each child to identify their inner strength and to hone their capability of learning through various avenues such the arts and counselling. To date, we have impacted over 600 youth, and are one more step towards achieving our mission of teaching life skills through the arts. Our vision is to ensure that the urban poor find acceptance, and a role to serve society through an arts movement, as opposed to negative social vices.
GoodKids Malaysia aims to develop these individuals into roles who would uplift the community to a better socio-economic state by increasing their employability. At the bottom line, GoodKids Malaysia strongly believes that every child has the ability to learn and grow, given the opportunity. With the proper support and headspace, the GoodKids will climb the socio-economic ladder beyond their B40 classification.
