Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) is the local network of the United Nations Global Compact in Indonesia.

The United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact)

As a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, the United Nations Global As a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals.

By doing so, business, as a primary driver of globalization, can help ensure that markets, commerce, technology and finance advance in ways that benefit economies and societies everywhere.

IGCN was established in 8 April 2006. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, a Board of Management and a Supervisory Board who are the key people in various industries.

Vision: To be a respected agent of change accelerating the advancement of human rights, competitive labour, sustainable environment, and ethical business practices in the country.

Mission: Promote, facilitate and implement the United Nations Global Compact principles in Indonesia.

IGCN performs increasingly important roles in rooting the Global Compact within the country, recruiting new participants through co-organized briefings, seminars, conferences and one-to-one calls.

Through its regular multi-stakeholder activities and events, IGCN offers opportunities for:
