Description
Globetrotters Travel & Cruise is a family owned and operated business servicing the Toowoomba region since 2005. It originally opened as Darling Downs Travel Agency in 1949 and, while the name may have changed, we are proud to say it is one of Queensland's oldest continuously running travel agencies, having operated at this location for 75 years!
Globetrotters Travel & Cruise is located at Shop 1, 170-172 Margaret Street, between Sofra Restaurant and Carnival Lane in the Toowoomba CBD. Easy three-hour parking is available directly behind the building between Neil and Annand Streets.
Due to our extensive world travel experience and knowledge, we are excellent at providing advice and organising bookings for our customers to travel all over the globe, including here in Australia. Whether it be flights, accommodation, cruise, rail or the organisation of a group tour, we can help and are happy to assist in any way we can. We believe to fully experience a country’s culture, landmarks, natural wonder and beauty, you need to take the time to carefully build your holiday. We work with you to create your own journey that will make memories to last a lifetime.
This commitment to delivering the best experience for our customers saw the agency named a finalist for the Most Outstanding Single Location Leisure Travel Agency title during the 2023 National Travel Industry Awards and nominated again in 2024 for the same category with Ben nominated for Best Agency Manager as well in 2024.
