Glades International Corporation is a family-owned business established in 1993 in Singapore, initially operating under the name ABSCO Int'l and producing co-extruded sheets (PP, PS, PE, PET, and EVOH). In 1995, the company formed a joint venture with Greiner Austria, leading to the creation of Greiner Asia and the establishment of a plant in Shanghai. By 1996, Glades International expanded its operations to Manila, catering to regional markets in both North Asia and Southeast Asia. Glades International Corp. was founded in 1996 at LIIP Mamplasan, Biñan, Laguna, Philippines. We began operations in 1997 with around 50 employees. Today, we have grown into one of the leading suppliers of thermoformed plastic cups, containers, and lids in the Philippines, employing over 500 people and serving top Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and food packaging companies. Additionally, we have expanded our product line to include injection molded items such as cutlery, cups, and lids. We are the partner of choice for food packaging, offering sustainable products to preserve the environment and reduce the carbon footprint. We partner with industry leaders such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Nestlé, KFC, San Miguel, Goldilocks, Jollibee, and Unilever, among others, providing them with high-quality, safe products and technical support at a reasonable price. Backed by a highly competent staff and the Company’s commitment to the highest standard of service, Glades International Corporation continuously strives to improve its operations to be on par with our competitors and consistently meet customer requirements and expectations. For these reasons, the Company has aligned its overall management system with the Global Food Safety Initiative – British Retail Consortium Quality and Food Safety Management System.
