Gems is a Naarm/Melbourne-based collective that showcases creative work made by women & non-binary people.
Formerly known as F*EMS, Gems is currently co-run by three friends Anna MacNeill, Freya Alexander & Tegan Iversen.
We self-produce Gems zine tri-annually & fill the pages with art & writing by women & non-binary people based in Australia & worldwide.
In addition to our zine, we curate art exhibitions, run markets & hold workshops.
Our work encourages the creativity & talent of women & non-binary people. We strive to create a platform to raise their voices & have them heard & their work seen.
