Founded in 2015, GABWA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting German and German-speaking professional women across Australia. With active chapters in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart, and Newcastle, our network is supported by a passionate team of 13 volunteers.

We host regular business and networking events—either sponsored or self-funded by participants—that provide a vibrant platform to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and build lasting personal and professional relationships.

Our mission is to empower women in the Australian business landscape through mutual support, career development, and shared learning. At GABWA, women support each other, grow together, and foster a caring and collaborative community.
