Description
FaME (Friends and Mentors in Engineering) is a group mentoring program that seeks to ease the transition to university, helping first-year engineering students make genuine friendships and providing avenues of support throughout the year.
First years engineering students are divided into ‘families’, each with two mentors assigned to them. They will serve as a guiding hand throughout the year.
Meetups and activities with individual groups will be organised by mentors and there will also be events where the whole program gets together (e.g. scavenger hunt, trivia night etc.).
Friends and Mentors in Engineering can provide you with the opportunity to participate in a worthwhile extra-curricular program that offers personal and career-related benefits. All second year and above engineering students are welcome to apply.
