Description
The Financial Counsellors’ Association of NSW (FCAN) is the peak body for financial counsellors in New South Wales. FCAN was established in 1980, as the Institute of Financial Counselling. Since that time, FCAN has been providing services to members, including accreditation, training programs, professional development, professional supervision, advocacy and representation, and assistance with lobbying and liaising with government departments. FCAN advocates for people who are financially vulnerable and people experiencing financial hardship.
