FINAL FINISH FRAMING is Sydney’s premier picture framing and display business. We were established by our master framer Colin Johnston in 1975. His extensive work experience and study in America and England has provided us with a broad range of expertise in paper and canvas-based challenges. Our team has hands-on knowledge of papermaking, bookbinding, paper conservation, printmaking methods from silkscreen to giclee prints, colour and design. All have contributed to a very broad and applicable skills base.
We offer conservation framing for artists, business, educational and institution clients, applying our expertise in canvas and paper borne art, corporate framing & display, and 3 dimensional pieces.
The three-dimensional work we love includes all kinds of memorabilia, sports jerseys, medals and awards. Recent challenges that have crossed our path include footballs, swords, and dog-collars (animals not vicars).
Colin is one of the few picture framers in Sydney who knows how to block and lace needlework, and he still practices that lost art despite its time-consuming nature.
Our framing is directed up to a standard, not down to a price.
