In the wake of the tragic Rana Plaza disaster in 2013, Fashion Revolution was founded to ignite change and bring transparency to an industry often hidden in shadows. Now the world’s largest fashion activism movement, Fashion Revolution spans over 90 volunteer teams globally, including here in New Zealand, where we unite designers, makers, brands, and citizens in the push for a fairer, safer fashion industry.
Our Mission: Every year, on April 24th, we commemorate Fashion Revolution Week to honor the lives lost to fast fashion’s relentless drive for profit. Through research, community education, and activism, we advocate to ensure no one suffers for the sake of our clothing and to create a fashion system that respects people and the planet.
