Family Inclusion Strategies in the Hunter is a community organisation based in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales. We aim for family inclusion in child protection and out-of-home care. We are led and staffed by parents and family with lived experience of child protection processes and our allies. We provide peer parent and family advocacy and support so that children and their families can stay together, strengthen their relationships and thrive. We are working for a future where child removal is rare and all children have strong family relationships.
