We are a national organisation that is committed to contributing to Australia's future through a dynamic and successful family business community. This includes family businesses and families IN business.
We recognise that 70% of all business in Australia is family owned, and collectively, the sector generates $4.3 trillion to the national economy. We need to demystify the idea that family business means only small business. The fact is that most of Australia's iconic and largest brands are actually family owned.
We are passionate about raising the profile of family business sector, and we know firsthand the contribution that these businesses make to the economy and community in which they operate. We are also aware of the challenges that family businesses are facing through the current economic climate or through issues such as family business succession.
