Description

As part of the temporary and permanent recruitment and HR services Superior Personnel currently offer, we are now working with ex Military, Police and Fire staff to assist them with the transition into civilian employment.

Over the next three years, it is estimated that approximately 5,250 ex Service men and women will leave the New Zealand Defence Force and Police and transition into the civilian workforce.

ex-Service personnel have a set of traits that can provide a competitive edge because they may not be so common in a civilian workplace. While Service personnel and others recognise the tangible achievements of rank, degrees, certificates and medals – the key is the attributes that enabled Service personnel to achieve these.

1. Dependability 2. Integrity 3. Leadership & Decision Making 4. Teamwork 5. Initiative 6. Tenacity 7. Professional Presence 8. Adaptability

The challenge for many ex Service members is to find a civilian role that is mentally stimulating. Without this challenge, exServices staff may find themselves looking for new job opportunities.

exServices Recruitment provides the link to meaningful and challenging career opportunities after Service.
