Everett a mens swimwear brand born from a passion for story-telling.
Our team was shocked to discover that 'made in Australia' is no guarantee of labour ethics. We set out to create a brand that men could be confident in and proud to wear. We support slow fashion, ethical production, independent accreditation, and sustainability, as non-negotiables. Everett is a brand dedicated to quality, sophistication, and meaning.
We also want to emphasise that brands have a powerful platform to tell stories. Everett explores "non-toxic" masculinity from diverse perspectives, with our 'story-models' proud to share their experiences, opinions, and ideas in order to more fully explore what non-toxic masculinity really means in the modern world. Nobody is pretending to be perfect, we're all on a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement, and can learn from each other.
Our attention-to-detail underpins our aim to be the most sustainable, ethical, and transparent brand in the world.
Made locally in Adelaide, Australia, our production chain has been picked over with a fine-toothed comb. We include premium nylon fabrics from Italy (regenerated from 50% pre-consumer and 50% post-consumer waste), 100% recycled drawstrings made from old PET bottles, elastics from natural rubber and 100% recycled polyester, an Australian-invented bio-epoxy resin, threads from 100% recycled nylon, and all of it carbon neutral. Our packaging and tags are all recycled and compostable, using vegetable inks and minimising water waste. It's a swimwear piece to last a very long time.
We're launching on Kickstarter in late April 2021, and look forward to your support! Starting a sustainable brand is expensive, and we want to do it right.
