The Essendon Football Club is proudly partnered with RMIT University to deliver a hands-on sports industry specific program that allows students to study with one of Australia’s leading Universities, alongside real-life work experience within an elite, high performance sporting organisation at the Essendon Football Club. The Essendon Education Academy was established in 2022, with the first year of students completing a truly unique learning experience - University delivered different.
The Essendon Education Academy offers students a sports industry specific program studying a Dual Diploma of Business, Diploma of Leadership and Management, in a unique one-year, full time program delivered by RMIT University. Perfect for the Sports enthusiast, the EEA provides students with unique access to elite high-performance facilities and key industry experts in the area of sports and entertainment. With a hands-on approach to the program, students can partake in a Sports Business Placement program, and/or a Football Development program alongside their Dual Diploma. Applying their learning on-the-go, giving students real life, practical experience through a sporting lens.
With two Graduate roles offered at the Essendon Football Club per calendar year, alongside support from the number one University for Graduate employment rates in Australia, students at the Essendon Education Academy have a unique opportunity to truly kickstart their career in Sport.
