Description
Enter Nusantara was founded and developed by a group of youth that focus on climate crisis issues and promote the energy transition in Indonesia. Since the beginning, Enter Nusantara has made a significant contribution to the ecological movement in Indonesia. Enter Nusantara plays an important role as coordinator of action and engagement in Bersihkan Indonesia coalition. Enter Nusantara also leads Bumi Butuh Aksi, a youth lead movement that focuses on climate and energy issues.
From 2019 - 2022 , Enter Nusantara has been trusted with being the coordinator of the #BersihkanIndonesia. In a pandemic condition, this does not dampen the actions of Enter Nusantara to continue amplifying the messages that Bersihkan Indonesia wants to convey. In 2019 we initiated a Climate Strike in Indonesia by organizing muslim students from two islamic boarding school in west Java. in 2022, we arranged climate strike for the second time by organizing youth on Java.
Enter Nusantara also initiated “Beragam Project” in 2020. Started from conducting workshops, discussions, and implementing 600W Solar PV in Pesantren Misykat Al-Anwar, Bogor. Also, 200W in Pesantren PATWA, Cirebon.
Enter Nusantara will continue Beragam Project to respond climate crisis in Indonesia. It is needed to fill the gap between urban and rural youth and also provide the implementation of renewable energy for those who are struggling against the climate crisis.
