UNSW School of the Built Environment is undertaking research to understand the Energy Performance Gap (EPG) in Australia’s Commercial Buildings. With the first part of the research focused on wider commercial building sector, the second part of the research will be focused on the hotel sector. The hotel sector is the next sector with the potential to catch up to the success of the Premium and Grade A office sector in minimising the Energy Performance Gap (EPG). The next part of the research aims to investigate the opportunities and challenges in minimising EPG in the hotel sector.
