EMU Australia is a premium Australian footwear brand born from our Australian coastal origins.

Follow the Australian south east coast to a path less travelled. At the beginning of the famous Great Ocean Road is where you’ll find our birthplace. Jackson’s Tannery. Established in 1948, and one of the original makers of sheepskin boots. Where EMU took its first steps.

Today, we are still proudly Australian owned and made with a passion for natural, lasting comfort, continuing to handcraft our exclusive Platinum Collection right here in our Australian workshop – made in Australia. Distributed around the world.

Our name is a celebration of our individuality, our bond with nature, and a reminder to keep moving forward, innovating and evolving. We embrace the wild spirit of the emu or as we call it – our emu-ness.

Just like nature we move to a natural rhythm, focused on creating high quality, timeless footwear and accessories that last beyond the season. We truly value slower fashion.
