EigenCarbon is a tokenized carbon infrastructure project focused on verifiable, fungible carbon assets that integrate with institutional finance. We combine on-chain transparency with rigorous off-chain verification to help capital flow to high-integrity abatement.
What is EigenCarbon? EigenCarbon is a tokenized carbon credit platform where each EC token = 1kg of verified CO₂ abatement for a specific year. Each year ends at the midnight UTC on the 30th of June.
Why on Chain? We put carbon credits on Ethereum so they're transparent, traceable, and tradeable globally 24/7.
What does EC represent? Every EC token represents real, measured carbon abatement - not promises, but proof.
Our Vintages: We issue EC tokens by vintage year: EC2025, EC2026, EC2027... so you know when the abatement happened.
Supporting land stewards: Our credits reward Indigenous communities and land stewards who protect ecosystems.
Liquidity + Trading: EC tokens are tradeable on Uniswap - with pools in ETH + USDC for easy access. This allows a market price to be struck and deep liquidity. The carbon credit is issued when the coin is burned to the burner - this is on chain, transparent and irrefutable.
Roll contracts coming soon: We're building contracts to roll vintages (e.g. 2025 --> 2026) at ultra-low cost for corporates + traders.
Credible Climate Action: We align with ESG standards and net-zero goals - no greenwashing, just measurable impact.
Massive potential: Earth naturally abates ~ 20 billion kg CO₂ yearly - we're here to help bring that on chain, responsibly.
