EDMAT (Engineering Development, Motivation, and Awareness Training) is a prestigious annual camp organized by the Engineering Society of Universiti Malaya (ESUM) and IEM-UM Student Section since 1978. This five-day event unites local and international undergraduates from diverse engineering backgrounds, fostering critical skills, motivation, and global awareness to prepare them for future challenges.
This year, under the theme "EcoNova: Engineering Breakthroughs for Climate Action," EDMAT-46 integrates sustainable and innovative engineering practices to tackle climate challenges. The event also marks the international expansion of Malaya Makerthon, where participants will collaborate across disciplines to prototype impactful solutions.
