This is necessary to build a bright future as tools to defend environment and humanity. Corporations, governments, and community activists struggle to find common ground in resource-based conflicts that often becomes intractable. An impasse on environmental conflicts might hamper the implementation of potential conservation priorities and economic development opportunities. The course attempts to lure participants to find the most efficient way to engage in environmental diplomacy while recognizing the importance of constructive confrontation in cases of social justice.
