ECOBRIQS Trading is the main distributor of premium quality coconut charcoal briquettes in Korean samgyeopsal and barbeque market all over the Philippines. We manage the supply chain and logistics for the producers to control the products quality, meeting the needs in the growing trend of samgyeopsal in the Philippines. Since inception in 2019, we have sold over 500,000 kgs of charcoal briquettes in the local market. We have taken the step in addressing one of the energy challenge to a certain level of simplicity, while helping reduce the country’s dependence on firewood, which is 3 times more efficient and 10 times cleaner. We are turning coconut shell waste into smokeless eco-briquettes so people don't have to cut down trees for fuel anymore. It's cleaner, it's cheaper, and it burns longer. Producing eco-friendly charcoal briquettes also created employment opportunities to rural areas in the Philippines, as they are required to be trained up to process the coconut shell waste and turn them into clean fuel. Our target community benefits the most from the livelihood we created for them, since our daily production of 1.5 tons of l briquettes could lift at least 30 people out of poverty enabling them to support their families. This is how we create a value cycle out of a coconut waste and push it as alternative cleaner energy and preserve the green trees. We have a clear vision of making a greener and more livable planet, while leaving no one behind, and from there, lead the sustainable energy transition in Asia, or at least here in the Philippines.
